Hi, Welcome to Craig Cantwell Photography.

I am an award winning Pet Photographer based in the beautiful County of Angus in Scotland.

I won the Scottish Pet Industry Award for Best Pet Photographer in Scotland twice (2020 & 2021) as well as the SME UK Best Pet Photographer in the UK (2021 & 2022) as well as Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards for my work with the Guild of Professional Photographers.

Following my careers in the Metropolitan Police and managing a Charity for Disadvantaged Youngsters I rediscovered a love for photographing animals.  It didn't take me long to realise that this is where my true passion and expertise lies.    I am also a qualified Canine First Aider and have undertaken Canine Behaviour training which is invaluable with the work I carry out which helps me manage even the trickiest of customers.

By combining my love of animals with my skill and passion for photography I am able to provide the perfect Pet Portrait Experience for you and your furry friend.  I have a deep affinity with animals which enables me to connect with them and capture their very essence and personality for you. 

I do most of my work at my base near Glamis in the beautiful Angus countryside, where I have a purpose-built studio, ample outdoor space for even the biggest of characters and there's also a secure area for those with a high prey drive or “selective hearing”! 

All of this is nestled nicely beneath the Angus glens, surrounded by woodlands and open fields, providing the perfect backdrop for your photoshoot.

I offer studio and location shoots as well as the ever-popular Pet Portrait Experience which includes a combination of them both.

I can also travel to you if you would prefer (mileage costs apply)
